This is my first week to participate in the weekly challenge, “Random Moments of Delight.”
This plant in the picture is a “Christmas Cactus” given to me as a Christmas present. Recently, it started blooming. Here in the Southwest USA there aren't many colors in our winter landscape; so even a small blossom such as this is a happy surprise.

What a sweet little bloom. I love Christmas Cactus and wish mine would bloom soon! A wonderful moment of delight to share. Thank you so much for joining in the challenge this week!

My pleasure! I was given one Christmas 2012 by my sister and it never bloomed. I am very thankful this one bloomed!

I’m thinking that placement has a lot to do with it. The one I have used to bloom every year, and then I moved and just haven’t found a place it likes enough to bloom!
They are both in the same place. Right next to my “south” window under a light. But the one I have potted and doesn’t have drainage, is the one that isn’t flowering.

Pretty.
Thank you. 😀 It is the only “delightful” think in my life right now. Ha!
