Every week, the lovely Becca Givens hosts, “Nurturing Thursday,” and is the author of the blog, “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea.”
Today I have chosen to share this image for Nurturing Thursday.
This week, Utah, Becca’s Husky is very ill and I want to dedicate a post to him and to his speedy and complete recovery.
Everyone, have a wonderful and “nurturing” week. Utah, please get well soon. Our hearts are with you.

Hi Joy, I should write this and place on my bathroom mirror, so every morning I’ll be reminded to take care of me first. Thanks!
Hi Elizabeth! I think you should print it out and put it on the kitchen cabinets to remind your family that sometimes you need to put you first (and remind them they need to nurture you too). 🙂
Thanks Joy, love the idea!
Yes indeed! And sometimes family members need to nurture themselves more, too…
Yes, actually just about everyone does. 🙂
Beautifully done!
Thank you. 🙂 Thank you thank you 🙂
So important!
Yes, it is. Thank you. 🙂
I hope Utah is better soon!
Yes, me too. Becca said he is doing a “little” better today.
Ahhhh, thank you!! I am happy to report we are cautiously optimistic. Utah seems better. We are 5 days without nausea meds 😀 … he is still on megadoses of Prilosec, plus we’ve started him on a medicinal raw diet with slippery elm tea, and a number of supplements plus kefir. Appreciate the thoughts!
You’re welcome! Thank you for the update! He has been on my mind.
I cannot remember if I replied to this comment, but I am happy to hear that Utah is feeling better and I hope he continues getting better. Thank you for letting me know because I have been concerned about him. :o)
