For those of you who would like to continue writing after this class has ended, I would like to introduce you to several “Flash Fiction Photo Prompt” challenges on WordPress. There may be more of these, but these are the challenges that I know of. The host of each challenge sends out a photograph once a week and challenges those who are following the challenge blog to write a story about the photo in 150 words or less (each challenge has their own word count maximum). It’s a lot of fun and it’s addicting. It’s also a great way to practice and improve your writing.

Check these out and give them a try. You might find flash fiction is a fun weekly challenge and give you the opportunity meet many new and established writers.
Flash fictions is probably the hardest for me because I have so much to say with so little words. I give a lot of credit to those who can do flash fiction quite well.
That is the challenge of it is to use words with the most power because you don’t have very many words to work with. It’s a challenge and after awhile you get the hang of it and it isn’t too hard to come up with flash fiction stories.
Thank you for the links.
You’re welcome!
I am confused ! Which challenge you are referring to ? I thought flash fiction aspiring was your second blog the one you specially wanted to create for writing, are you ending it ?
No, it is the Flash Fiction Challenge blog. I am just telling the participants of Writing 101 they can follow this blog and receive the weekly challenge posts if they want to continue pursuing their writing. No, I’m not closing it, just trying to get more participants in the challenge.
Ooooo, now I get it 😀 But it is yours, right ?
Yes. Flash Fiction for Aspiring Writers is my Challenge Blog of Flash Fiction. I only use it for that.
Someday I would want to send a pic to you for the prompt and see how the stories turn out ? Will that be ok ? I want to know if stories can be found here ….
Of course you can send a photo. The challenge stories are in InLinkz. On the post that I send out each week from this blog, there is a blue froggy button on it. When you click on that button you can see all the different stories and can read them from there. Just give the participants a day or two to get their stories linked.
Now I know why can’t I see those stories ! Will do it 🙂 I will send the pic to you right ?
Yes, you can send the photo to me.
I will try to find a nice pic for you then 😀
When you choose a photo, make sure it can be a good “story” photo.
How will I know ? Give me some clue ?
You’ll just know. You have probably seen the photos I have been using. That should give you some idea.
I will send you two-three, you can choose 🙂 If they are not story material, let me know… I will try better 🙂
Sounds good but I’m sure you will choose well.
Thank you PJ 🙂 I will try 😀
Thank you very much 😀 I see at my pics and I don’t get a single idea, that’s why I haven’t been able to write a story since last time 🙂
I hope you get the inspiration again to write some more stories.
Thank you very much PJ 🙂
LOL! Is it as clear as mud? 🙂 Every week I send out a post with the weekly challenge photo and those who follow the blog write a story around the photo and then we link our stories to InLinkz.
Yes, I have read the instructions but got confused when you said it was over 🙂
Oh, I see now what you were talking about. The Writing 101 (WordPress’s class) is over. Tomorrow is our last day.
Ooooo….. I was shocked and misunderstood 😀
No problem, at least we were able to get it communicated. LOL! Another thing, when you send your photo, please tell me what name you want me to credit the photo to.
Ady is ok I guess 🙂
