A Field of Flowers Award Acceptance and Nominees

A tremendously inspiring blogger named Stormie Steele has nominated me for the beautiful and inspirational, Field of Flowers Award. I am VERY honored because her blog and blog posts are so wonderful and inspiring that my blog barely holds a candle to it. Her kind and thoughtful words describing my blog was truly touching to me. Thank you Stormie, you are a huge inspiration to me! Please check out her majestic blog at: http://stormiesteele.wordpress.com.

The Rules for accepting this Award are:

1. Thank the blogger who nominated you and thank them for the description they gave of your blog.

2. Place the Award on your blog. (Please see my note regarding this at the bottom).

3. Nominate 7 other bloggers and write a little something about why you would give these bloggers “A Field of Flowers” Award.

4. Let your nominees know that you have nominated them.

I have chose the following blogs as my nominations for A Field of Flowers Award.

Yives, at Curious Flowers http://curiousflowers.wordpress.com. She writes about her recently changed diagnosis and how it is affecting her recovery. She is honest and informative about the illnesses which she sufffers through in her daily life. She has a positive attitude and a strong determination. I admire her greatly and believe she certainly deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

Annabelle, at http://annabellefranklinauthor.wordpress.com. She has a sweet blog that grabs the interest of her readers and pulls them inside her posts. She is a wonderful person and deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

Suzi (calmgirl06), at Tales of a Slightly Stressed Mother, http://srollinson7.wordpress.com,. Suzi writes about a variety of subjects but each of her posts are inspirational, educational, and all certainly worth reading. Suzi certainly deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

Raising 5 Kids With Disabilities and Remaining Sane http://5kidswdisabilities.com, is about the life of a mother that is raising five children who each have disabilities. Her posts are always educational, inspirational, heart-warming, and usually delightful to read. She is an amazing woman and deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS award on her blog.

Joy, with the http://joynpain2.wordpress.com blog writes about the adhesions and fibromyalgia that she suffers with on a daily basis. She has a wonderful educational blog about living with constant pain. She is a true inspiration to many on WordPress, including me. Because of her selfless honesty, the care and concern she expresses to others, and her educational blog, I believe she certainly deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award. Joy, please come back to us, we love and miss you!!

Denise, at http://inspired2ignite.wordpress.com shares her honesty about her PTSD and how it affects her and her family. She is an amazing woman that also has a positive attitude and strong determination. She deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

Kim, with Quiet Desperation http://kh1313.wordpress.com blog is about a variety of things of which her endearing spirit pulls you into her blog posts. Her honest sharing of her daily life and emotions along with the love she shares with her readers, are wonderful and well worth reading. Therefore, I believe Kim deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

That Montreal Girl at http://publictransituser.wordpress.com shares beautiful photographs as she walks to catch public transit in Canada. She has been amid the frosty winter and sharing beautiful photographs of snow, among other beautiful photographs. Not only are her blog photographs delightful , she is a wonderful person who I believe deserves A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award.

Colleen, the Chatter Master, at the Chatter Blog http://bikecolleenbrown.wordpress.com writes about a variety of things but each of her posts are delightful reading and her “shadow people drawings” are a fun element to her posts. Her blog is truly wonderful and I enjoy reading each of her posts. I believe Colleen deserves to have A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award on her blog.

I apologize for going over the limit of seven, but I couldn't help myself. I truly believe each one of these ladies deserves a beautiful FIELD OF FLOWERS Award attached to her blog.

I am ashamed to admit this, but I do not know the proper way to imbed an Award to my post and blog. I take a screen print, then cut and paste. I have tried to find the original post I received from Stormie and have not been able to find it to give to each of you for the A FIELD OF FLOWERS Award Badge.

As soon as I hear back from Stormie, I will give you the Url to that post so you can attach the badge to your blog properly. (Also, please let me know how to do it).

Also, I ask each of you, if you do not wish to accept this award, or perhaps you already have the badge on your blog; to select one person that you feel deserves this badge and forward this post to them along with an explanation. Thank you!! May each of you have a very successful blog.

The Shauny Award Nominations

On January 21, 2014, I was nominated for the The Shauny Award by Suzi of the blog, Tales of a Slightly Stressed Mother and again, February 26, 2014 by Mark of the blog, markbialczak.com.

Thank you to both Suzi of Tales of a Slightly Stress Mother and to Mark with markbialczak.com!

If you have not already found these two wonderful blogs, I urge you to click on the links above and check them out.

They both write about a 'little of everything' and in a very interesting and inspirational way. I have enjoyed following both of them, reading their terrific posts, and interacting with them them through comments.

This is the first year that I am accepting awards. Last year I was too new and was busy trying to figure out how to blog on WordPress.

When Suzi nominated me for the Shauny Award earlier this year, I was committed to the ZerotoHero Challenge and needed to postpone the acceptance of it.

The Shauny Award was started by Dr. Rex in tribute for Shauny Gibson, a young man who contributed a great deal through his efforts on WordPress.

Rules of acceptance are that as a blogger you:

1. Show love

2. Show humanity

3. Be yourself

4. Be original

5. Don't gossip

6. Share the award by nominating ten other bloggers.

These are the ten bloggers that I have enjoyed following and reading their posts. I am nominating them because I feel each of their blogs have these six qualities and deserve to proudly show this award. If you have not read any of their posts, I encourage you to click on the links below and check them out.

To those who I am nominating, if you do not accept awards, I ask that you forward this nomination post to a blogger who you follow that you personally believe deserves to be presented with this award and allow them to take your place.
